The Nike Women’s Dri-Fit Contour Short Sleeve is more than meets the eye. At a website thumbnail level, I assumed that this was just another basic running t-shirt. However, when I took the time to look more closely, I found stand out features that take this short sleeve to the next level.
- Body mapping. This is the design factor that really makes this Nike short sleeve shine and takes it from a basic running top to a unique high-performance piece. Built with zoned mesh, I love how breathable this top feels. Higher breathability in specific areas make this short sleeve perfect for a long hot run. When I look closely at the fabric, I can see the different “zones”, which creates a subtle visual appeal as well.
- Rolled-forward seams. The second attribute that makes this top stand out to me are the seams. At first, I found myself asking, “what seams?”, and I found that the seams are rolled forward, preventing the discomfort of chafing while running.
- Dri-Fit fabric. Something I’ve come to expect with Nike pieces, Dri-Fit is a technical fabric composition designed to wick moisture away from the body. Classic Nike.
- Ergonomic fit. Some running tops can feel boxy, but not the Contour Short Sleeve. It tapers in to conform to my body’s natural curves, yet it also allows for room to accommodate a variety of body types.
