A sleek yet luxurious upper paired with resilient and responsive cushioning, the Saucony Freedom ISO hopes to provide another fantastic training option within the newly minted premium performance shoe category. While the Freedom ISO is not the first premium performance shoe to hit the market, it maintains the key traits of the category by offering top of the line shoe materials as well as a light and stripped-down design ideal for faster running.
We’ve seen the introduction of Everun technology within the new Saucony lineup but the Freedom ISO sets itself apart as the first shoe to feature a full length EVERUN midsole. We can expect this addition to deliver an excellent energy return and responsiveness while also enhancing the midsole’s durability. This shoe also utilizes the same Everun topsole seen in several of the daily training models which helps to provide a continuously cushioned feel throughout the run.
To help create a light performance feel, we see the use of a stripped-down ISOFIT upper. The seamless design offers a snug foot wrap that was built to move optimally during your run. A streamlined support frame is also utilized to create a tight heel lock while keeping weight at a minimum. On the outsole, a triflex crystal rubber material helps set this shoe apart in both durability and traction.
A light and responsive trainer built with top of the line materials, the Saucony Freedom ISO is surely a premium performance shoe to look forward to next spring.
