‘Bootyful’ Short Shorts for Fearless Femmes

June 29th, 2012

We’re stoked on the longer days, warmer weather, and all kinds of trails, paths and races summer 2012 has to offer. And really, what goes better with a long, hot run than a pair of short, hot shorts? We’ve got quite the collection of toasty little bun huggers for bold runners who are ready to train hard and take names. You can see all our current styles above, but here are a few of our favorite itty-bitties:

Nike Legend Slim Short

The extra-wide waistband on this short sits snugly against your body without digging in at all. Bright contrast color at the waist adds even more style to these already awesome shorts. With their performance-forward design, these shorts are a great pick for training and race day alike. Ergonomic flatlock seamlines prevent chafing and allow for full freedom of movement.

Saucony LX Mod

Simple, sleek and ready for performance, the Saucony LX Mod Tight Short has a flirty silhouette and great aesthetics. Contrast color design waistband and side ribbon ruching details make this short is a great option for runners who demand performance first, but don’t want to skimp on feminine details.

Moving Comfort 4″ Compression Short

Sleek fabric hugs your curves, and wide waistband offers a flattering silhouette. A slightly longer inseam makes this piece a good option for women who want the extreme freedom of a boyshort, but don’t want to bare quite so much skin. This spring, Moving Comfort brought a pop of energy to these shorts with bright, fun colors.

Some of the ladies here at Running Warehouse live in these little numbers on the roads and trails…what about you? Do you dare to bare your gams in saucy short shorts, or do you opt for more coverage?

I own the a pair of the Saucony shorts…I LOVE LOVE LOVE them! I never thought I’d like shorter, tighter shorts but I’m pretty sure I’ll be replacing most of my shorts with this type now! Ran a 20K in them with NO issues…so comfortable!

LOVE them! Can’t say that enough…can’t wait to get more!

I run in Texas where it’s crazy hot in the summer so I’m all about minimizing clothes (and how about those tan lines?) in the short shorts!
