New Balance Minimus Trail Zero v2 Sneak Peek

November 8th, 2013

New Balance has an update in the works for their ultra-minimal Minimus Trail 00, however the second iteration of the shoe bears little resemblance to its predecessor. Rather, the design of the Zero v2 was more inspired by the RX Terrain, a fell-specific shoe popular in the UK during the late 2000’s, complete with aggressive outsole lugs and synthetic suede overlays that give the shoe a throwback aesthetic.

What to Watch For

  • Zero Drop Cushioning: A zero drop & low profile platform features full length RevLite cushioning, promoting a natural run while keeping your foot protected from impact.
  • Aggressive Outsole: Deep, 6mm lugs give the sticky rubber outsole excellent grip in soft terrain, making the Zero v2 an ideal partner for any fellrunning escapades.
  • Seamless Overlays: Synthetic suede overlays utilize a no-sew application for a near seamless interior.
