Awesome Nike Running Shoe Colors
So we’re certainly not fashionistas here at the ‘House, and we’ll run in the ugliest shoe on the planet if it offers a stellar run experience. But when really really good looking shoes make their way into our warehouse, we take note. And in the last few weeks, Nike has been delivering some rockin’ color combos on some of its best-selling running shoes, in addition to some great makeups for its fresh designs. Here’s what caught our eye, for your own viewing pleasure:
Nike Flyknit Lunar1+
Ok, how flippin’ cool is this “gray-nbow” Lunar1? We have to envision a shoe geek or two already has this on a pedestal in his or her collection. You’re pretty much guaranteed not to see another shoe that looks anything like this one (except the Women’s version, here). On the Women’s side, we’re partial to the new retina-popping Pink/Electric Green colorway that just launched.

Nike Free 4.0
The Nike Free 4.0 v3 may be the middle child in the lineup, but with these colors, it will not be ignored! The Men’s Lime/Blue color is a welcome change from more sedate colors earlier this year and perfect for summer. Same deal on the Women’s side, with the Blue/Pink colorway giving a fresh, clean look.
Nike LunarGlide+ 5
Nike’s been marketing the heck out of the LunarGlide+ 5 this past week, and it’s tough to blame them since the updated design and bold colors are so photogenic. We’re partial to the Men’s Blue with some hits of Orange, but to our eye the real standout is the Women’s Pink/Slate/Black, with its super-subtle pops of magenta by the laces.

Nike Pegasus+ 30
This year the Pegasus turns 30, but it’s not hitting middle age just yet. Last year saw some pretty wild colors for the Peg, and the trend continues with this year’s upper update. Like the LunarGlide+ 5, the Men’s colors are strong but the Women’s Pink/Lime/Black is a straight-up knockout.
