Running Warehouse is carrying a new apparel line! If you aren’t already familiar, let us introduce you to rabbit, a running apparel brand created by two passionate, lifelong runners.
Bucking the athleisure trend, Monica DeVreese and Jill Deering set out to design apparel that is made solely for the runner and branded it with the name rabbit. No, that’s not a typo; it’s a little “r” with big performance. In a race, the rabbit is the pacesetter who works hard to sacrifice him or herself for the benefit of others, and Monica and Jill have embraced the mentality in their company ideals.
By way of introduction, the co-founders shared with us what sets their brand apart. Here are just a few reasons why you should hop to it and check them out.
They make RUN specific apparel
We are runners. We know that now is the time for a running apparel brand that is 100% focused on the act of running— clothes that move with you, hold up to the rigors of the sport, and make you feel and look good. Fit and performance guides our product creation, making sure our collection fits runners. We scampered, we sprinted, and we ran in each piece to make sure it lined up with our standards. rabbit endures dirt, mud, rain, scree, mondo sprints, pavement, sandy beaches, and the repeated rigors of the washing machine. We’re proud to say each of our pieces is cling free, sag resistant, and scratch and chafe-free.
They are made in the USA
We are proud to say that all of our products are manufactured in Los Angeles, CA. We believe in domestic manufacturing and keeping jobs in the good ‘ol USA. As rabbit grows, we expect to create new opportunities, new jobs, and support US manufacturing. It is important to us that every part of the creation of our product is done in an ethically and socially responsible way.
They support the local running community
It all ties back to the local running shop. When you support rabbit, you support “run local.” We are the owners of the only running shop in Santa Barbara, CA and set out to breathe new life into the running apparel category at running specialty stores. There is so much power in local communities. Retailer-sponsored group runs will always be a social outlet, especially for those who work all day and look forward to meeting with their group. It becomes your social life. Those runners are your closest friends.
Every runner desires comfortable apparel that won’t get in the way of your workout. Do yourself a favor, and experience the softness and simplicity of rabbit; apparel made by runners, for runners.
