Continuing to provide a low offset design with an aggressive trail outsole, the Saucony Peregrine 7 maintains the key attributes of the previous version while offering small enhancements in fit and responsiveness.
While the Peregrine 6 received a responsive upgrade with the use of an Everun heel insert, the Peregrine 7 hopes to further increase energy return by replacing the heel insert with a full-length Everun topsole. We expect this change to offer enhanced springiness while also creating a more consistent, cushioned ride. The shoe continues to utilize SSL EVA for lightweight cushioning and an EBO rockplate for protection against sharp rocks and debris. The same PWRTRAC outsole seen in the previous version is also used to deliver sticky traction.
One of the more noticeable updates in the Peregrine 7 can be found in the new upper that utilizes a TPU Exoskeleton. The strategic exo-skeleton weave should help enhance overall foot support as well as create a secure midfoot lockdown. The upper update should also increase protection and durability while a more seamless design should provide improved comfort.
