Available January 2018  – MSRP $100.00

After reviewing the Saucony Breakthru 3, designers decided to give the Saucony Breakthru 4 several slight but meaningful modifications. Small changes to the midsole, outsole, and upper tweak both the underfoot feel and the overall fit for a more enjoyable running experience.

To maintain the lightweight and springy feel of the previous edition, the Saucony Breakthru 4 includes the same full-length EVERUN topsole design. However, the midsole in the Breakthru 4 will be made of PWRFOAM, which is a more premium foam than the SSL EVA foam used in the previous model and should increase underfoot comfort.

A new molded heel support within the upper should improve the hold of the shoe at the heel while a redesigned engineered mesh upper should provide a more adaptable and comfortable fit than its predecessor.

As an effect of these changes, the reported weights of both the men’s and women’s Saucony Breakthru 4 are 0.1 ounces lighter than the production models of their respective previous versions.

Preliminary Tech Specs

Stack height*: 25 mm heel, 17 mm forefoot, 8 mm heel-toe offset

Weight*: 8.6 oz (men’s size 9),  7.4 oz (women’s size 8)

*Production stack heights and weights may differ from the preliminary data listed here.
