Product Spotlight: Nike Pegasus 31 Oregon Project

The “Oregon Project” team is a group of elite runners, lead by coach Alberto Salazar, aimed to create an American resurgence in distance running. The team consists of runners such as Galen Rupp, Mo Farah, Mary Cain and Jordan Hasay, to name a few. Coach Salazar, endorsed by Nike and its latest technologies, has seen his team win World Championships, set state and national records, and bring home medals at the Olympic level. To celebrate the success of the Oregon Project team and its lofty goals, Nike occasionally produces limited quantities of Oregon Project special editions of shoes and apparel.

The latest installment is the special edition Zoom Pegasus 31 OP. This Pegasus has subtle cues along one side of the shoe — a reflective swoosh and reflective Oregon Project logo — and boasts bold contrast colors on the opposite side. For those of you who like to sport something different and express your love of all things fast, be sure to check out this unique version of the ever popular Pegasus series.
