Available April 2018 – MSRP $90.00

Now well-established as a go-to racing flat for distances from 5k to the marathon, the New Balance 1400 v6 should continue to deliver the lightweight feel and peppy ride of the previous edition, with an updated upper for improved breathability and a lighter wrap. Designers also included a smoother internal design to accommodate runners who prefer to race without socks.

Featuring the same RevLite midsole as the previous model, the v6 should have a fast and light underfoot feel with a responsive toe-off to propel you forward, whether it’s through the finish line of your local 5k or up and over Heartbreak Hill.

Also identical to the previous model, the outsole is constructed with blown rubber to create optimal durability while providing excellent grip on the roads.

The upper of the 1400 is all new and constructed using a highly-breathable engineered mesh with no-sew overlays for premium comfort. It also includes an internal FantomFit support cage that should hold the foot securely within the shoe, and a redesigned tongue which follows the design of New Balance’s track and field spikes for a smooth, thin wrap.
