Available January 2018 – MSRP $130.00

Year after year, the Mizuno Wave Inspire series has provided runners with reliable cushioning and stability in a package that’s built to handle daily road running. Now with version 14, we see an all new design from top to bottom that should enhance responsiveness and comfort while still retaining the classic Inspire feel.

Midsole

In order to deliver plenty of cushioning for your daily training, the Wave Inspire continues to feature both U4ic and U4icX foam compounds, but with a new design that aims to create a more springy feel with a slightly softer underfoot sensation. The shoe also offers Mizuno’s new Cloudwave technology that pairs with a more traditional fan-shaped wave plate to create an ideal balance of responsiveness and stability for moderate overpronators.

Upper

For enhanced comfort on the roads, the Inspire 14 has an updated upper design. A new mesh material in the forefoot offers a lightweight hold with plenty of breathability, while a softer collar and sockliner create a luxurious step-in feel.

Outsole

On the outsole, both the rubber design and the layout of the flex grooves have been tweaked for improved traction. While a close inspection reveals small differences compared to its predecessor, overall we expect the outsole to deliver similar durability and performance.
