Over the past year HOKA ONE ONE has continued to expand their performance running lineup, offering runners a variety of shoes for both workouts and race day. Now, in an effort to further expand their selection of faster, lighter, and more responsive shoes, HOKA is unveiling the all-new Fly line. With three new performance trainers, this lineup gives runners more options to fill their training arsenal.
The lightest shoe within the Fly line is the all new Mach. Built as a workout day shoe that still offers plenty of cushioning, it’s quite evident that this trainer has the popular Clayton in its genes. With an even more stripped down design and added responsiveness, the Mach should be a great training option when you decide to pick up the pace.
In order to achieve that extra pop for your stride, the Mach offers an all-new midsole design that features PROFLY® technology. PROFLY, similar to the Pro2Lite seen on previous HOKA shoes, offers a softer heel for added cushioning and a firmer forefoot for added propulsion. Paired with an RMAT® outsole with added flex grooves, the shoe should deliver a smooth, springy ride that will perform on tempo days as well as during your daily training.
The shoe also includes a soft, engineered mesh upper with open knit patterns. This design should not only provide lightweight breathability but also improve fit with targeted zones that help increase lockdown.
