The Hoka One One Clifton 3 has been the story of Q3 2016. With three colors in the men’s top ten and two colors in the women’s, the Clifton 3 has been hugely popular. With its low weight, soft ride, and improved fit, the Clifton 3 is hitting the mark for many. It’s still not a very durable shoe, but runners are loving it.
Fall racing is the big story on the men’s side, as eight racing flats make the top 25. On the women’s side, the Saucony Kinvara 7 is showing its dominance with three colors in the top 10. Comfort is also a story with the ASICS Nimbus 18 putting three colors in the top 25.
On the trail side, the Saucony Peregrine 6 cracks the top 10 for both men and women. It has proven to be a versatile shoe with enough protection for ultra runs and performance for faster races. To our surprise, the New Balance Vazee Summit has fallen out of the top 25. Of note, the new Hoka Speed Instinct comes in at 22 and 24 (men’s) with only one month’s worth of sales, as it arrived in September.
