ASICS Dynaflyte 2 Women’s Sample (subject to change)

Available July 2017 – MSRP: $140.00

Back in 2016, the release of the ASICS Dynaflyte introduced Flytefoam technology to the world of running shoes. Since then ASICS has featured Flytefoam in some of their more popular models including the Nimbus and the Kayano. For the Dynaflyte’s second iteration, Flytefoam makes an encore appearance alongside an improved upper.

The big change for the Dynaflyte 2 is the addition of a more breathable Adept Mesh upper that provides a new look and should also help cut weight. Preliminary weigh-ins have the shoe weight dropping from 9.5 ounces to 8.9 ounces for men and 8.3 ounces to 7.2 ounces for women. On the heel collar, ASICS removes seams and overlays to give the shoe a more seamless and sleek design.

With outsole and midsole tooling identical to the original Dynaflyte, this second iteration should continue to provide a similar underfoot experience. The return of the full-length Flytefoam midsole should continue to offer a soft yet responsive ride with enough cushion to handle anything from daily training to uptempo runs.
